About Us

Bhumi Gallery

. . . Artifying the Soal

Driven by an irresistible passion for art and culture, Bhumi Gallery stands as a vibrant force in the contemporary art landscape of Bangladesh. Since its inception, the gallery has been dedicated to celebrating the richness and diversity of indigenous and modern art forms through a dynamic range of initiatives-art exhibitions, art camps, workshops, educational programs, immersive installations, and forward-thinking publications.

Established in 2024, Bhumi Gallery is an open and inclusive platform with a bold vision: to bring the finest original artworks of Bangladesh to a global audience. We work to elevate artists, amplify authentic voices, and position Bangladeshi art on the international stage.

More than a gallery, Bhumi Gallery is a comprehensive offline and online art hub-a destination where art is discovered, experienced, collected, and traded. Our curated collections offer collectors, dealers, and art enthusiasts access to a diverse and growing range of original artworks, making Bhumi a trusted marketplace within the Bangladeshi and Oriental art bazaar.

To strengthen connections within the art ecosystem and foster transparency, Bhumi Gallery actively bridges leading galleries, collectors, and art professionals-both locally and internationally. By building meaningful networks, we create opportunities for collaboration, credibility, and sustainable growth in the art market.

Currently, Bhumi Gallery exclusively represents and sells original paintings by Bangladeshi artists through its physical gallery spaces at Centrepoint, Uttara, and Lalmatia, Dhaka. Our evolving inventory is set to expand beyond paintings to include sculptures, craft jewelry and other curated art objects that reflect the depth of Bangladesh’s creative heritage.

Throughout the year, Bhumi Gallery works hand in hand with artists and artisans to host art camps, exhibitions, and cultural events-honoring the millennia-old traditions of Bangladeshi arts and crafts while inspiring new narratives for the future.

Bhumi Gallery invites you to explore, collect, and connect-where art finds its ground, and culture finds its voice.

Meet our Founder

Saifur Rahman Lenin

Founder & CEO

For Saifur Rahman Lenin, art has always been more than a profession it has been a lifelong passion. From his boyhood days, he dreamed of becoming a painter, a passion that deeply influenced his school and college years. Although his career path later led him into the world of graphic design within corporate organizations, the voice of the “inner painter” remained constant.

Driven by this enduring passion, Lenin gradually became an active force in the art scene of Bangladesh. Over the past 18 years, he has curated numerous art camps, exhibitions, and publications, while organizing a wide range of artisanal and creative initiatives that brought together many of the country’s leading and promising artists.

A significant milestone in his journey was the large-scale artistic installation at the Bangabandhu Military Museum. As his first commissioned project of this magnitude, it quickly captured nationwide admiration. Leading five teams of more than seventy artists, Lenin supervised the ambitious artistic endeavor for over two years, transforming the space into a remarkable visual experience admired by visitors from home and abroad.

Inspired by a vision to present Bangladeshi art and artists more prominently both nationally and internationally, Lenin founded Bhumi Gallery as an open platform dedicated to artistic growth and collaboration. By bringing together emerging, young, and renowned artists through diverse creative activities, the gallery quickly earned recognition and trust within the art community.

Within just a year and a half, this growing confidence led to the establishment of Bhumi Gallery’s second and larger branch. Designed as an inclusive and accessible space, the new gallery expanded opportunities for artists and made art more approachable for the wider public. Today, Bhumi Gallery stands as a dynamic initiative that continues to support artists, promote Bangladeshi art, and contribute to building a vibrant art ecosystem both locally and globally.
