5th Solo Art Exhibition of Artist Samar Majumder
On Friday, November 22, 2024, the 5th solo exhibition titled ‘Aunusriti’ featuring 100 paintings by renowned Bangladeshi artist Samar Majumder was inaugurated at ‘Bhumi Gallery’.
The exhibition of 100 paintings painted with poster paint on paper was inaugurated and the chief guest was Professor Syed Manzoorul Islam, a renowned literary critic and writer of Bangladesh.
Samar Majumdar is a masterful artist of beautiful, active, and vibrant Bangladesh. In his exhibition titled ‘Aunusriti’, we will have the joy of seeing, we will feel a gentle, affectionate touch on our eyes and senses, which will simultaneously open the door to the memories of thousands of years of Bangladeshi folk life.
From Nandalal Basu, Kamrul Hasan to Qayyum Chowdhury, who did not forget even Picasso while rediscovering the eternally innovative style of Bengal, Samar Majumdar presented that trend in front of us in the most beautiful form. Samar Majumdar’s brush touch has left a unique signature in our cover art. We believe that his greatness as an artist will be established again in this exhibition. In color and line, it is like seeing the face of Bengal again and again, paying homage to Mother Bengal.
