The country’s largest open gallery
With the aim of making art accessible to the general public instead of limiting it to invited guests only, the country’s largest open gallery was inaugurated on 21 November at the Centerpoint Shopping Complex near Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport. Along with this, the group exhibition titled “Resilient Becoming / সহনশীল রূপান্তর”, featuring legendary, renowned, and talented young artists of the country, also began.
The exhibition showcases artworks by Bangladesh’s legendary artists Shilpacharya Zainul Abedin, Qamrul Hassan, S. M. Sultan, Qayyum Chowdhury, Mohammad Kibria, Qayyum Chowdhury and acclaimed artists Rafiqun Nabi, Monirul Islam, Hashem Khan, Abdus Shakur Shah, Biren Shome, Alokesh Ghosh, Swapan Chowdhury, Naima Haque, Ahmed Samsuddoha, Sheikh Afzal, Mohammad Eunus, Jamal Ahmed, Kanak Chanpa Chakma, Mohammad Iqbal, along with 115 distinguished young and promising artists.
The purpose of this open exhibition is to present the artistic journey of Bangladesh to the general public.
The exhibition will continue until 31st December 2025, every day from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM (except Mondays).
