Children's Art Exhibition
The art exhibition organized by Bhumi Gallery’s affiliated institution, Bhumi Pathshala, showcased the remarkable artworks of its young students. The exhibition displayed the creations of children who have been learning at Bhumi Pathshala over the past year, offering a glimpse into their artistic journey and creative growth.
At Bhumi Pathshala, children are encouraged to paint with freedom and spontaneity. Their learning is not confined within classroom walls; rather, they often step into nature’s embrace—observing trees, flowers, rivers, and the sky—to find inspiration for their art. This approach reflects Bhumi Pathshala’s core belief: every child is inherently creative. With the right environment and gentle guidance, their innate talents can flourish naturally.
The institution emphasizes that true artistic expression emerges when children are allowed to connect deeply with their surroundings. Through the practice of free painting, they experience emotional and intellectual growth. Bhumi Pathshala regularly organizes outdoor sessions and creative workshops to help children bond with nature, believing that art born from such connections carries authenticity and vitality.
Over the past year, this philosophy has borne fruit. The exhibition, held from September 26 to 28, presented the vibrant works of these young artists, which captivated both established painters and visitors alike. Renowned international artist Monirul Islam and eminent painter Biren Shome inaugurated the event, expressing delight and admiration for the creativity and confidence reflected in the children’s work.
The exhibition stood as a testament to Bhumi Pathshala’s commitment to nurturing free-spirited young artists—proving that when children are allowed to explore the world with curiosity and joy, their art becomes a beautiful expression of life itself.
