‘Small is Beautiful-2’
Group Art Exhibition on small medium
The inauguration ceremony of the group exhibition titled ‘Small is Beautiful-2’ of 12 promising young artists was organized jointly by Bhumi Gallery and Shilpangan on Friday, March 7, 2025 at 5 pm. Renowned painter Professor Jamal Ahmed and special guest art lover Mr. Mikhail Idris Islam were present at the inauguration ceremony of the 14-day exhibition at Bhumi Gallery in Lalmatia.
A total of 120 paintings, 10 each by 12 artists, are being displayed in this 14-day group exhibition titled ‘Small is Beautiful-2’. The 12 participating artists are Kazi Shahid, Al Akhir Sarker, Tarek Amin, Farzana Rahman Bobby, Nazmul Haque Bappi, Biplob Chakraborty, Monjur Rashid, Kamruzzoha, Jinnatun Jannat Moon, Rony Mondal, Enamuz Zahid and Shakirunnahar Kanon.
This exhibition, jointly organized by Bhumi Gallery and Shilpangan, has been designed keeping in mind the middle class, lower middle class and students who want to collect artworks, as well as art lovers with a low budget. All the artworks in the exhibition are limited to 11 inches/11 inches frames, and the price of each picture is set from 5 to a maximum of 10 thousand taka.
Organized by Saifur Rahman Lenin of Bhumi Gallery and Rumi Noman of Shilpangan with the initiative and 2 months of effort of 12 selected brave young artists, each of the artworks in this exhibition has presented the stories of life, nature and public life in their own style. This exhibition is a great example of presenting a complete story on a 5 to 10 inch canvas or paper.
